The Good Earth — a Unilab Product
We were given a brief to create a branding strategy for a brand new line of sustainable & healthy fruit and veggie crisps to be released by UNILAB.
However, as it stands UNILAB is primarily known for its ties to the pharmaceutical industry with a majority of its products catering to that market alone. So we were given a challenge not only to break into a new market but as well as to reinvent UNILAB for a whole new demographic.
In a market saturated with products that look the same and feel the same, we decided to take the product a step further. Instead of just inviting a potential customer to try a sustainable product we opened his eyes to a whole new world. A sustainable world we called The Good Earth.
The product packaging was designed to go beyond what the lifespan of normal packaging should be. Rather than stop at being reusable, we decided to make it also purposeful. Each packaged chip contains a paper tag that is made out of plantable paper which you can plant within the packaging of your now-finished chips, starting the cycle of sustainability.
